El Verano Apartments – Anaheim

El Verano is a 54-unit affordable and permanent supportive housing (PSH) apartment community located in the City of Anaheim adjacent to IHO’s award-winning Rockwood Apartments. Celebrating its opening in 2020, El Verano replaces a former blighted motel property with a new 3-story, Spanish-style building to house formerly homeless and low-income seniors. This 1.1-acre site has now been transformed with high-quality architectural design, native landscaping, multiple sustainable elements, and outdoor common area amenities that encourage social engagement and resident wellness. Working closely with the City and community partners, tailored supportive services are provided on site to meet the needs of the residents including case management, health/wellness, skill building programming, and linkage to other resources in the community. Resident amenities include a community room, computer room, and a dedicated health office. All services support residents to remain stably housed, and to age in place with dignity and grace.
